The next day, Rukia actually slpet in late.  She had known the night before was Friday, leaving it to be Saturday today.  The only thing keeping her asleep was the fact there were no hollows for most of the morning.  If there were, Ichigo had taken care of them.  But that morning... she purposely avoided Ichigo... barely saying anything but 'yes' or 'no' to him.  Last night had left her absolutely speechless.  Since when did Ichigo feel that way towards her?  Was he hiding it the entire time?  She didn't know... and she didn't want to find out.  She was getting awfully good at avoiding him, until he caught her offguard and, while she was getting omething from their room, shut the door behind him, blocking the door to talk.
"Rukia... what's up with you? You're avoiding and ignoring me." He said, breaking the room's silence. She exhaled a breath.
"I'm not ignoring you, or avoiding. I am just staying away from you and not responding to you." She said, going through some paperwork from school.
"That pretty much is ignoring my and avoid-" He paused. "Is this because of last night?" He looked towards her. Taking two steps in her direction, he looked at her expression. She was looking more and more like she was going to cry. "Rukia?"
"Just, leave me alone." She said to him, taking two steps in the opposite direction.
"Oh, c'mon Rukia. What the hell? If you were gonna be effected this much, what the hell's the use of trying to-"
"Ichigo," She but in. "It's not that. It's just... if anyone in the Soul Society was to find out you did that... which the eventually will, if this does not discontinue immediately, I could get in trouble, because if Renji was to find out, then soon enough it'd be Toshiro, Rangiku, then Soi Fon, Yoruichi-"
"And you care, why?" He cut in. "It's your decision with what you do when you're not at the Soul Society."
"Don't you?" She asked him, with a mimicking tone.
"God damnit, Rukia..." His voice trailed off. "No, I don't. For more than one reason, too."
"Huh?"
"One reason is that I am already treated like crap, in case you haven't noticed. And Two is..." His voice Trailed off.
"What?" Rukia questioned. Obviously this one bothered him.
"I'm thinking about leaving the Soul Society."
"WHAT?!" Rukia yelled. "Why in god's name would you DO that?!?!"
"My hollow gets the best of me.  It's effecting the order.."
"What order, you moron?"
Ichigo smirked. "Mine." He walked up to her and tucked the strand of hair behind her ear. She nodded.
"I understand." Looking at him, he touched her face lightly. "Will I atleast be able to live here?"
Ichigo asked her; "Now why wouldn't you?" His eyes were sparkling. He looked down to her, and she was looking back. He leaned in for a kiss... and she hesitated.
"Should I?" She looked up to him and completed the kiss. Her hand moved to his side, and her other tightened on his arm. The kiss lasted Atleast eight seconds. When it finished, she blushed.
"You've done that everytime." He looked at her, and ruffled her hair.
"Sorry."
He hugged her tightly, and buried his face in her hair. She pressed her face against his chest.
